I'm Sáád.

I'm a Shopify developer and CRO engineer, working remotely on CET hours.
For the past four years I've built across the entire web stack: Liquid themes and Shopify Plus storefronts, React and Next.js front-ends, Node and Python back-ends, AI integrations, and two public apps on the Shopify App Store, SwiftSearch and Swift AI Collections. I also run what I build: Linux servers behind nginx, Docker images, a Kubernetes cluster, and CI that ships every merge. Most of that work has lived in Shopify commerce, where front-end, back-end, page speed, and real revenue all have to fit together and stay reliable under traffic.
These days I work conversion end-to-end: finding where a storefront leaks revenue, rebuilding that surface, instrumenting it, and proving the change in numbers I'd defend. Whether it's a search app, a collection-merchandising engine, a 70,000-product operations platform, or a fast custom storefront, the goal is the same — shorten the path to checkout, then measure whether it actually moved.

I believe every product we create should genuinely serve the people who use it — and that a conversion win only counts when the shopper got a better experience out of it too. My work is rooted in curiosity, continuous improvement, and honest measurement. If you share those goals, I’d love to connect.
01
Start From the Store
Before I write code I read the store: analytics, search logs, the collection pages that get traffic and the ones that should. Once you can see where the revenue leaks, the right fix is usually obvious, and it is rarely the one the brief asked for.
02
Speed Is a Feature
Every script a storefront loads is paid for in conversion. I budget kilobytes the way a merchant budgets ad spend, load what most visitors never use only when they reach for it, and keep Core Web Vitals green through every release, not just launch day.
03
Accessible FTW
I aim to make everything I design accessible to all for one main reason: it is the right thing to do. Accessible products benefit the many, not the few.
04
Keep Experimenting
Everything I ship is a hypothesis until real traffic says otherwise. Not every test wins, but a losing test you measured properly still teaches more than a redesign nobody instrumented.
05
Safe by Default
Anything that writes to a live store gets a dry run, a preview, an audit trail, and a way back. My systems place real supplier orders and reorder live collections every hour, so a bad run has to be recoverable rather than catastrophic.
06
Engineered to Last
The interface is only half the job. I deploy and operate what I build, from Linux servers to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI pipelines, so I care just as much about what's underneath: clean architecture, reliable data flows, honest error states, and code the next developer can actually read.

“Saad is extremely talented, hardworking, and fast. He really knows his way around Shopify and custom coding and did an amazing job on my product page, which needed a lot of customization. Saad handled everything from Shopify store development and creating custom sections that are easily editable, to improving site speed, basic SEO, product uploads, and meta object creation. I highly recommend him for anyone needing a skilled Shopify developer!”
Before I stepped fully into the world of full-stack development, I was simply a curious kid who loved making things on the web. My earliest projects were small Shopify customizations and cloned app features built long before I understood best practices. Lots of trial, error, and late-night debugging, hoping the thing I built worked the same way in production as it did in my head.
Working across the stack early on forced me to understand how front-end, back-end, and performance all fit together — a skill set I've sharpened on every client project since. My side projects, whether rebuilding a complex interface, exploring headless architectures, or wiring up a new AI system, are just excuses to stay curious about where the web is heading.
Outside work, I enjoy playing cricket, lifting at the gym, trying new food spots, polishing small coding ideas, and occasionally taking my camera out to capture the city.
